How we got here

Our journey began with a heartfelt frustration—one that many traveling parents will recognize all too well. As parents who frequently flew with young children, we loved the idea of exploring the world with our little ones but dreaded the reality of the journey. It wasn’t the airplanes themselves; they were as comfortable as you could hope for. The real challenge was flying with kids—small, restless, overtired kids.

We knew the routine all too well. Despite being armed with every snack, toy, and bit of entertainment we could carry, the flights inevitably turned into survival missions. Crying babies. Glares from other passengers. Exhaustion on all fronts. We’d take turns pacing the narrow aisles, trying to rock our little ones to sleep, often settling in the only "vacant" spot on the plane—just outside the restroom. And even when we did manage to get them to sleep, it was a battle to keep them that way. Slouched seats, awkward sprawls over our laps, and the sheer discomfort of it all meant those naps were fleeting and left us all feeling more tired than before.

It was during one of those aisle-walking, bathroom-guarding moments that the idea hit us: there has to be a better way.

Determined to create a solution that would ease the chaos of traveling with young children, we dove into designing a product that could meet our needs as parents and the needs of our little ones. Something soft, cozy, and secure for them. Something easy, compact, and stress-free for us. After months of research, testing, and fine-tuning, we developed a travel companion that turns an airplane seat into a little haven for toddlers—a product that we wished we’d had on every single one of those flights.

And that’s how Wiggly Winks was born: from our journey as parents who believed that travel shouldn’t be a nightmare but a chance to create joyful memories with your kids. Every feature of our product reflects our mission to make flying with children smoother, comfier, and more enjoyable—for everyone on board.
